I downloaded a recipe from your site for chili and a very nasty virus attacked my PC. It cost me $64. to get rid of it. Next time that happens is the last time for me to visit Yahoo.

HI DON'T WANT TO POST MY NAME....
BUT I WANT TO KNOW IF ANYONE HAS HAD THIS PROBLEM. I HAD TROUBLE WITH MY EMAILS BEING READ BY FAMILY MEMBERS. SO TO STOP THEM I CHANGED MY PASSWORD,SECURITY QUESTION AND ANSWERS. WELL ONCE I DID THAT I WAS EMAILED THAT ALL THE CHANGES WERE CHANGED AND CONFIRMED THAT EVERYTHING WAS CHANGED, SO I THOUGHT. I WAS IN THE CLEAR..UNTIL I SIGNED OUT MY YAHOO MAIL. AND AFTER MY CHILD WAS DONE WITH THE COMPUTER. I TRYED TO SIGN BACK IN...BUT NOTHING WAS CHANGED LIKE IT SAID IN THE EMAIL. AND NOW I CANT GET BACK INTO THAT ACCOUNT. I TRYED TO SIGN IN BUT NOTHING HAPPENED. AND ALL THE INFO I CHANGED NEVER WENT THROUGH NOW I CANT GET BACK INTO THAT ACCOUNT I LOOSE ALL MY STUFF IN ALL THE FOLDERS. Can anyone help me? For weeks or months I have been having trouble with my Yahoo "contacts" function.
Often the screen reads:

"There was a temporary problem accessing your address book. Please try again in 10 minutes. If you continue to see this problem, please notify customer support. Thank you."

We could not find a usable phone # for Customer Service. A reply to my email stated they are working on it but that was about 5 days ago and the problem persists. I am trying to add several contacts and this malfunction is seriously holding me up. Any advice/info? Thanks.

My 10+ year old was hacked on Dec.29,2009. I lost EVERYTHING I had - my address book, folder's-photo's-EVERYTHING !!! I will now try to call Yahoo to see if it can be retreived...WISH ME LUCK !!!

Its almost impossible to find phone number, because they dont actually want to nhear from you, bastards. I cancelled my store subsciption 1 day after opening it, wont give refund my cost. Had to file claim with visa. Thanks for the number now I'll aggravate the hell out them.

My daughter asked me why I would send her such a crazy advertising email. When I looked at the email, I foun d out that someone else has taken my email address, changed all the letters to undercase (making it a new email account)and then was able to get in to my contacts and send them emails. Question for Yahoo....They did not have my password so why did you log them in to my case sensitive address and by-pass my password? This is scary. Yahoo mmessage asked my if I wanted toi change my password? What good would that do since they didn't hnor the first one that I have had for 9 Years?

I just installed Rhapsody which I guess is under Yahoo's umbrella and connected with Real and Realtime which everyone in the world has used at some point I guess. Rhapsody won't let me set up a new acct. Say I have an acct. I haven't a clue about the password. I keep going around in a circle when I hit forgot password, never making contact and the computer crashes. They need to work on password control. I will buy music somewhere else.

I log in to Yahooi mail in the morning and I'm in. Then I go to other websites. When I go back to Yahoo mail, I am asked to enter my ID and password again. This happens several times during the day.

Your system has decided that it needs to delete my read messages from my in box. Whenever it wants to do so.
And after 4 days of complaining no one apparently seems to care. BECAUSE I have not received any messages stating that it has been fixed.

Like many of the complaints I have read I have nothig but problems with Yahoo for the past month of more. It doesn't like my user Id or password.I continually have to answer my security questions and reset my password. TYesterday I entered an alternate Id as I wish to return to my maiden name. Today it does not recognize either user Id or my p-assword. I reset my password numerous times today and it still will not recognize it or let me access my mail. I finally found the site to scontact them about consistent problems, entered all the necessary information and when I tried to send it to Yahoo it threw me back to the beginning to enter everything again instead of submitting it to Yahoo. I gave up and finally found this site. I don't know what the problem is but Yahoo needs to get their act in gere and provide a customer sercvice number for clients or they may not have any clients. There are other comanies that provide e-mail service.

Yahoo is going to get a lot of lawsuits behind this I work in customer and tech support and we never treat our customers like this. When I try to log in it tells me the information I provided does not match what they have on file. What the hell is going on. If there is identy theft going you best believe I will sue the hell out of yahoo.

I have been trying he Rhapsody music service. It will not down load music on a continual basis. Instead there are constant interruptions fo longe periods than the piece of music. I have tried starting any number of times and defraging my harddrive. This changes nothing. Rhapsoday is worse than the Yahoo music from before and if CBS or who ever believes I am going to payfor a service this poor you are all sadly mistaken...I have a rather old transiter radio that I can put on NPR and get all the music I want indeffinitly...so no sale folks

Just signed up for Yahoo and also Yahoo personals to a tune of 60 bucks. It was fine for a week and then I couldnt log in. Called in and got the royal run around. just set up a new yahoo account which was required by my new employer. got 3 emails today to Vickie , and none of them are the real Vickie . Ha! ha! I responded back to the sender, told her I hope she gets her hopefully adopted new son from Vietnam, and to contact me if she thinks we are somehow related. This is crazy. I tried to report an abuse through another Yahoo source and could not figure out after several attempts how to do it so gave up. I have been getting filthy emails and I have no idea how they got into my mailbox so if they continue and something is not done about it I will switch to another email user.

Yahoo is so bad they deserve an award. My BUSINESS email has not worked regularly for about a year now. I have spent nearly 80 hours working with Yahoo to get this fixed and guess what - It isn't fixed. My problem is that about two out three incoming emails to my Yahoo email account get bounced back to the sender with a Relaying Denied error. The funny thing is that each and every one of the Yahoo yahoos I speak with about my desperate problem assure me that everything is or will be great and working. They have been wrong every time.

I guess when I add up the time it has taken on hold, endlessly re-explaining my problem to a new techie, testing, re-testing and then calling back to let them know it is STILL not working, I have spent a few HUNDRED hours. I bill my clients about $50. and hour minimum so I figure that I could have bought my own servers and hired my own IT staff for the amount of money (time) I have wasted with Yahoo. I have finally jumped the shark and found a local IT provider. Yahoo did not work for me!

I sent a e-mail to try and get my mail unblocked, they said send a photo government/state ID, not on my life. They would have it all over the web. Yahoo needs to get new customer service people and help customers that have had accounts for a long time. They suck!!!! I am experiencing the worst nightmare with Yahoo email!. attemted to log on as usual and was halted by Yahoo security prompt: ID/Password verification. I verified.The reply was my password is incorrect, of course I log in very carefully the next 20 times to no avail. I called the customer service number generously provide from this blog. My problem is: I do not remember the registration info from over 8 years ago. I agree w/ most of you! I have window vista & they don't let web cams work on it(Beta version & 9.0). I've downloaded it 3 or 5 time & still can't sign in on 9.0. For mounths now every time i send 3 or 4 e-mails I get a suspisous activity to protect your computer we have suspended your account for 48 hours. after 2 days I can use it again briefly then no more for 48 hours (for my protection). Whar the hell is that all about.

I have nothing but problems with Yahoo and get no help. Everytime I send an email, I first have to try and figure out the squiggley letters/numbers they make me fill out to send an email. I have friends, family & mostly new customers that emails never get to or I never get theirs. I have tried on line help to no avial. I talked to "Bee" tonight who told me to go to the Inter net. I tried to be calm and say how many times I had been there. She too gave me 866-562-7219 which is how I got her. Folks, I just found from out customer service why if you have free service or Business account that the account is Frozen for 48 Hours or shut down.

It is a problem with the messages saved on your send mail folder. There should be no limit but the system puts a limit on it if you save too many hundreds of e-mails.

This problem was created when they decided to go unlimit on storage.

Solution just eliminate send messages,try to keep it in the low hundreds. If it gets locked after you send an e-mail then elimnate some send mails. They are working on the problem. Hope this helps

I am very upset, I was just on my yahoo account last night, waiting for a responce from my bank. Here's the way you get things done with these assholes. Press the numbers on the phone menu that direct you to purchasing their largest business product. You're damn sure to get a human being when its about putting money INTO Yahoo's pocket. When you finally get the sales rep, demand service and act like a prick until you get what you're looking for. Worked for me - and let me tell you -- I'll be someone's worst customer service nightmare -- and I have NO PROBLEM with making someone's day miserable, just for the hell of it. It's a shame it has to be this way, but their customer service BLOWS, and you have to act like a jerk to get anything accomplished.

Direct and Toll Free Numbers don't get you anywhere! They tell you to go on-line. Call Billing number for live person who will act like a robot and say they can't help you and go on-line.
