12/01/2009 Entry: "Concerts I've listened to, November 2009"

  • 1988-02-22 Yes Austin TX Frank C. Erwin Jr. Special Events Center - I figured since I listened to a 90125 show, I should listen to a Big Generator show. Not horrible sound, but not the greatest listen.

  • 2009-10-29 Bruce Springsteen New York City Madison Square Gardens - RRHOF 25th anniversary. Great sound.

  • 1984-10-26 OMD Rotterdam Holland The Ahoy - TV/FM broadcast. This is probably one of the better broadcasts I've heard! Perhaps the best OMD soundboard!

  • 1987-07-21 Peter Gabriel Philadelphia PA Spectrum - damn nice soundboard. Should have been released it sounds so good.

  • 1972-04-14 Genesis Pavia Italy Palazzo delle Esposizioni - First gen of an early show. Very interesting set list.

  • 1981-10-27 Pink Floyd Chicago IL Auditorium Theater - Really warm with not a lot of hiss. 9 songs, 143 minutes: brilliant!

  • 2009-11-08 & 09 DEVO Seattle WA Moore Theater - Complete album performance (since they are all the rage now). Perfect audience recording. Feels like 1978 and 80 all over again.

  • 2009-11-07 Bruce Springsteen New York City NY Madison Square Gardens - The Wild The Innocent and The Street Shuffle night. Great aud. Great guest (Elvis Costello). Great show.

  • 1987-03-21 Prince Minneapolis MN First Avenue - First SOTT show with new band. Did not realize that this was a soundboard before.

  • 2009-11-22 Bruce Springsteen Buffalo NY HSBC Center - "Greetings" show. Last show of the tour. 3.5 hours long!

  • 1970-11-22 Pink Floyd Montreaux Switzerland Altes Casino - MASTER. Known lineage. Amazing audience recording. Almost complete. Almost flawless.
