Today was a little less fun and a little more serious (but to a point). Lots of sessions. It was non-stop talking and listening from 7.30am until 6pm. Then a small break before the big party with the B-52s. I have to admit that I was pretty impressed. It didn't seem like anyone knew what Mesopotamia was, but I loved it. Some good Private Idaho, Rock Lobster, and Planet Claire. Some new stuff and of course the crowd pleasing Roam and Love Shack.

OK, back in IBM world I got some good information about WebSphere Connectivity and Portal futures. I'm under NDA for the coolest thing I saw, so I can't talk about it. But it was really cool.

At the general session we saw the guy who invented the Tesla Roadster electric car. Very cool idea, but his rapidfire presentation style impressed me the most. He must have gone through 100 slides in 8 minutes.

So that's about it. I might actually get a good night's sleep tonight!
