04/14/2006 Entry: "Finally. Echoes."

I'm getting ready to leave Chicago and return to Minneapolis. Last night I saw David Gilmour at the Rosemont Theatre and (even though I knew it was in the set list), I was very happy that he closed the second set with Echoes. And he wailed on it. And Rick Wright actually got into playing something and he was amazing with the keyboards.

While it's not exactly 1971, I'll take seeing Echoes live. And while it's not exactly Pink Floyd, I'll take seeing Echoes live.
