So the afternoon finished up with some interesting sessions. I talked about service-oriented architecture with some people, and I found that since it wasn't well-defined most were talking about providing IT as a service. I agree with that notion, but that's ITSM, not SOA. Granted, it's all up to what your organization defines as a service. The second afternoon session was around business architecture, and again, good topic, but it depends upon how you define it for your organization.

I discovered that from my room I can see some lake and Mt. Ranier, which is pretty cool. I was able to watch the sunset. Later I went out to dinner with some of my techie Microsoft friends, and honestly, we spent way too much of billg's money. They believed that it was worth it, and I agree. :)
