10/05/2004 Entry: "IBM WebSphere Technical Exchange 2004 in San Francisco: Day 1"

The rest of day 0 was pretty good. I got bumped up to a corner King View room, which has a separate bedroom and living room.

Today was good too. Long... especially with the time difference. Lots of good themes around service-oriented architecture, WBI, and enterprise service bus. I also think that Java Server Faces are going to be coming on strong.

Bad thing: IBM does not serve snacks in the afternoon: Soda, water, and coffee. We were all starving. Dinner was at a good resturant in ChinaTown that I swear Angie and I went to on our honeymoon!
