12/27/2001 Entry: "Futurama Xmas"

I just finished watching the year-delayed Futurama Christmas episode. I haven't seen anything that christmasly twisted since The Spirit of Xmas starting circulating (when was that, '96?). It was truly sick and twisted. I'm pretty surprised they showed it.

We had a very nice Channukah, Christman, and Holiday Gift Giving Season. The cats and house did truly well. Angie and I did pretty good as well. Thanks to all. And to everyone out there, I wish only good things in 2002.

My new job is starting slowly due to training, holidays, etc. But it is going to be very very challanging and rewarding.

I was hoping to do a time line of the years events, similar to what Google posted, but I'm not sure if I'll get around to it. Perhaps during this weekend I will. All I can really say right now is that 2001 will always be the year of Change.

I'm off to finish reading IBM and the Holocaust. It's a tough read, especially to think that people would use computers for evil, but I suppose that anything the Nazi's did is just evil... like the episode of Futurama... oh how it all comes together.

Happy Holidays!
