02/17/2004 Entry: "ITSMC8: Day Three"

Finally, some interesting stuff right at the very end. A good case study on implementing change (ITSM change that is) at Safeco. The morning's key not by Ken Richardson was fascinating and validated what I've always believe: Development is an art. OK, he said that everyone is creative and that the educational process and business stiffle that. So as a result, I must be more creative. Done. :) We also had a very interesting speaker from Gartner who basically said that implementing process improvement is a huge organizational change and extremely difficult. So as a result, again, we all must be more creative about it. OK, she didn't mention creativity, but it's easy to extrapolate.

I'm off to Caesar's to eat, shop, and perhaps gamble. We'll see how I do.
